Mr Feiran Wu

I had an arthroscopy and follow up! All incredibly smooth and my wrist is recovering very well!

We first met Mr Wu at the QE Birmingham back in January 2026 when following a fall and dislocating my little left hand finger and wrist I had emergency surgery to repair it. I’ve recently had another procedure of carpal tunnel surgery in the same wrist/hand and have now been discharged finally from all care etc under Mr Wu and his excellent team particularly those in the aftercare hand therapy unit at the QE. Throughout all my follow up appointments and consultations Mr Wu was very professional and caring at all times, and we would highly recommend him as an excellent Hand Surgeon. We can’t thank him enough for which has been a difficult time through the last 9months of recovery and will always be extremely grateful for his care.

Following a skiing injury I visited Mr Wu at the Spire hospital. The care was excellent, he listened, never rushed me and talked through in great detail the injury I sustained and I saw him three times in four months. Luckily, with his care and advice I didn’t need surgery on my hand and I’m now almost back to full strength. I would fully recommend him to my friends and family.

Mr Wu was great the whole way through the process clearly explained every step making sure I understood everything.

Mr Wu has been brilliant. I would have had the surgery earlier had I known how well it would go. I am now symptom free for the first time in years. Having the surgery done via key hole has made recovery so much quicker.

My overall experience was excellent throughout including the secreterial help which I received. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Wu and his team.

Very clear explanation of procedure along with potential risks prior to operation (Dupuytren's contracture) Operation itself was very successful, with very good outcome confirmed on final follow-up review approx 8-weeks post-op.

I recently had a carpal tunnel release performed by Mr. Wu. The overall experience was excellent and very smooth: I was admitted to a private room in the morning, with the operation completed a bit later that day. All staff, including Mr. Wu, were extremely caring and professional and the operation was performed excellently, with all issues resolved after the operation. I would highly recommend Mr. Wu as he is an excellent surgeon and a lovely doctor.
