Dr Erika Birgiolaite

Ms Erika Birgiolaite is a Consultant General Surgeon at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Ilford, with a focused elective practice in laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and anorectal surgery.

She qualified from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2014 and completed her surgical training in 2019. She is an active member of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery, the European Hernia Society, the British Hernia Society, and the European Society of Coloproctology, and maintains her practice through ongoing participation in European and international surgical education and specialist workshops.

Her procedure repertoire includes laparoscopic inguinal, ventral, umbilical, and incisional hernia repair; open hernia repair; laparoscopic cholecystectomy; HAL-RAR haemorrhoid surgery; haemorrhoidectomy; rubber band ligation; anal fistula surgery; anal fissure treatment; and pilonidal sinus excision.
