Dr Emma Jane Searle

Dr Emma Jane Searle is a highly skilled Consultant Haematologist who provides expert, reassuring care to individuals facing complex blood disorders and cancers. With a strong commitment to patient-centred treatment, Dr Searle ensures that every patient receives a comprehensive, individualised management plan tailored to their specific diagnosis and personal circumstances.

Her clinical practice focuses on haemato-oncology, with dedicated interest in blood cancers such as multiple myeloma and acute myeloid leukaemia, as well as the management of haematological conditions in older patients. Dr Searle is deeply involved in advancing treatment options through clinical research, specialising in early-phase clinical trials for novel anti-cancer drugs, first-in-human therapies, and cutting-edge immunotherapies, including bispecific antibodies and CAR-T cell therapies.

Dr Searle completed her primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), at the University of Manchester. Demonstrating a strong interest in patient care ethics, she was awarded a Master of Arts (MA) in Medical Ethics from Keele University in 2007, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Manchester in 2016. She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath).
