Dr Ellen Nelissen

Dr Ellen Nelissen is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist specialising in Gynaecological Oncology. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care for women experiencing a broad spectrum of gynaecological concerns. Dr Nelissen approaches every patient with empathy and professionalism, ensuring individuals feel supported, informed, and involved in their treatment decisions throughout their care journey.

Her clinical expertise encompasses the diagnosis and management of gynaecological cancers, including ovarian cancer, as well as general gynaecological health and cervical screening. Dr Nelissen has a particular focus on advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, including state-of-the-art robotic-assisted surgery. By using these modern surgical approaches, she helps patients experience quicker recovery times, reduced post-operative discomfort, and improved overall outcomes for complex procedures.

Dr Nelissen earned her medical degree (MD) at Utrecht University, where she also completed her doctoral research (PhD).
