Mr Edward Holloway

Mr Edward Holloway is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hip and knee conditions. He provides comprehensive care for patients suffering from joint pain, arthritis, and complex lower limb disorders. His clinical practice focuses on restoring mobility, improving quality of life, and relieving chronic discomfort through tailored treatment plans. Committed to delivering patient-centred care, Mr Holloway ensures that every treatment decision aligns with the personal goals and physical needs of his patients.

Mr Holloway possesses extensive clinical expertise in lower limb reconstructive surgery. His practice encompasses both primary joint replacements and complex revision procedures for the hip and knee. He has a particular clinical interest in managing challenging conditions such as peri-prosthetic fractures and prosthetic joint infections. In addition to joint replacement surgery, he performs knee arthroscopy and collaborates closely with allied health professionals to support effective post-operative rehabilitation.

Mr Holloway earned his Bachelor of Science and his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from the University of Leeds. He subsequently completed his Orthopaedic Higher Surgical training on the South Yorkshire rotation. To further refine his expertise, he undertook two years of sub-specialty fellowship training, including an international Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship at the University of Toronto in Canada and a further specialist fellowship in Leeds focusing on complex primary and revision joint replacements. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Mr Holloway maintains active professional memberships with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Hip Society, and the British Association for Surgery of the Knee.
