Dr Mark Anderson

Dr Mark Anderson graduated from the University of Cambridge Medical School in 1994. In 2005, Anderson obtained his PhD from the University of Birmingham following work on growth factor receptors in oesophageal cancer.

As of 2006, Anderson has been a consultant gastroenterologist at Sandwell and West Birmingham Trust. He is a lead for the upper GI cancer service at the Trust. The team there provides comprehensive clinical gastroenterology including hepatology, advanced endoscopy and bowel cancer screening.

Anderson's special interests include Oesophageal disease, Gastro-intestinal oncology, Barrett's oesophagus and Inflammatory bowel disease.
