My experience today seeing Dr Abbas can only be described as Top class. From the moment i met him, he made me feel at ease and explained in great detail everything about my appointment and what I needed to know. he was very thorough and didn’t rush the appointment. He spoke to me in great detail about the issue that I was therefore. He also was able to get me the scanner required on the same visit saving me a lot of apprehension waiting for another appointment. He made me feel that the Service provided was one of a private hospital rather than a NHS Hospital. Thank you, Dr. Abass for providing me with a great experience at my appointment, you are a massive credit to the Hospital.

Dr Abbas is very kind, professional, knowledgeable and reassured me that my diagnosis of PBC can be managed. I was very frightened about the disease until i first saw him in October last year when he reassured me, it meant a lot.

"IBS or SIBO? The Test Most Doctors Never Order"

Constantly bloated and not sure why? In this episode, Consultant Ga..."Diagnosed with IBS but never actually tested for the real cause? As a gastroenterologist, I see this constantly — patients told they have IBS when the underlying issue is SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), a condition where bacteria overgrow in the small intestine and cause bloating, gas, and unpredictable bowel habits that mimic IBS almost exactly. IBS is often a diagnosis of exclusion — meaning it's given once other causes have been ruled out. But SIBO frequently gets missed because it needs a specific test: a breath test that measures hydrogen and methane gas after ingesting a sugar solution. At House of Health, we run this test directly in clinic, so you get a clear answer instead of a label. If your 'IBS' has never actually improved despite trying everything, this might be why. Watch to find out how the test works and what the results actually mean."
