About Dr Intisar Mirza
Dr Intisar Mirza is a Consultant Cardiologist practicing at the William Harvey Hospital in Kent. He is also an Honorary Interventional Cardiologist at St Thomas' Hospital in London. His clinical interests include coronary diseases and symptoms of angina, palpitations, dizziness and chest pain.
Dr Mirza qualified from Medicine in 1991 from the University of Southampton (BM) which is where he also completed his PhD. Prior to this, he completed a BSc degree in Anatomy from Birmingham Medical School. Upon completion of his education, he completed a Cardiology Registrar Specialist Training (CCST) in Oxford, along with fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology in New Zealand.
He can perform coronary angioplasty, stent implantation, atrial fibrillation, pacemaker implantation and CT coronary angiography for the management of coronary diseases.
