Academic Background:

After graduating from Cambridge University, Dr Clesham completed his clinical training at the Oxford University Medical School. His registrar training in cardiology was initially at the Hammersmith Hospital in London and subsequently at Papworth Hospital in Cambridge. In between these two posts he was awarded a Medical Research Council Training Fellowship for research into molecular aspects of cardiovascular disease. This period of research resulted in a PhD degree being awarded from Cambridge University.Qualifications include;
