Dr Colin Bernstein

Dr Colin Bernstein is a Consultant Paediatrician based in Manchester, UK. He was awarded his primary medical qualification from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, before undertaking postgraduate Paediatric training in London.He sub-specialised in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and completed a fellowship year at Sydney Children's Hospital, Australia. Moving to Manchester in 2006 to take up a Consultant post he worked at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and then helped establish the Paediatric Emergency and Ambulatory Unit at Salford Royal ( Hope) Hospital where he currently works. He has a strong interest in Paediatric Allergy.

Dr Bernstein offers consultations to children between 0-16 years of age, and is a believer in cultivating a child-centred, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. He has two daughters who keep him on his toes and in his spare time he enjoys swimming, motorbikes and cooking up a storm.
