Dr Christopher Scott

Dr Christopher Scott is a Consultant Physician specialising in Sexual Health and Genitourinary Medicine. He provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for all aspects of sexual health, including the diagnosis, management and prevention of sexually transmitted infections in men and women. He has particular expertise in male genital dermatology and in the management of persistent genital and pelvic symptoms. His clinical practice prioritises high-quality, confidential and patient-centred care, following national and international best-practice guidelines.

Alongside his sexual health practice, Dr Scott is a specialist in HIV Medicine with extensive experience in the care of people living with HIV, including complex and treatment-experienced cases. He is part of the major HIV service at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, which supports the largest cohort of HIV-positive patients in Western Europe. He has lectured widely in the UK and internationally and has served as a co-investigator on multiple Phase 3 clinical trials of antiretroviral therapies, contributing to advances in HIV treatment.

Dr Scott also has a specialist interest in anal neoplasia screening and treatment. After advanced training in London and San Francisco, he established a High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) service in 2010 to detect and manage anal intraepithelial neoplasia (AIN), the precursor to anal cancer. He continues to work within the multidisciplinary Chelsea Anal Neoplasia Service and is trained in laser ablation therapy for AIN.
