About Dr Angela Robinson
Dr Angela Robinson is a Consultant Physician currently based at the private practices Harley Street and London Medical. Her current NHS post is Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. Her areas of specialism are genitourinary medicine and HIV and her areas of interest include management of genital herpes and genital warts, chlamydial infections and urethritis, vulvovaginal infections, HPV vaccination and sexual health screening.
Dr Robinson qualified in Medicine at University of Newcastle in 1980 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. She completed training in Newcastle between 1975 and 1980. In 1996 she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and also achieved a chair of Specialty committee.
Dr Robinson is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London, she currently trains medical students in gynaecology. She is interested in research regarding topics including Chlamydia and HPV. Dr Robinson has been published extensively, with over 100 articles and several book chapters. In addition, she was President of the Medical Society between 2001 and 2003 and President of the British Association for Sexual Health between 2003 and 2006.
