Dr Catherine Rodgers

Dr Rodgers is based at HCA Healthcare at the Shard.

Her extensive training enables her to manage the whole spectrum of sexual health, from basic sexual health screening to the management of complex or chronic conditions.

• STI's; chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, mycoplasma, herpes, warts (HPV)
• Genital rashes and skin problems
• Cryotherapy of genital warts (HPV)
• Vaccinations; Gardasil 9 (HPV), hepatitis A and hepatitis B
• Recurrent vulcovaginal candidiasis
• Recurrent bacterial vaginosis
• Recurrent prostatitis

Dr Rodgers graduated from Liverpool University Medical School in 1989. After completing her training in general medicine (MRCP), she became a registrar in Genito-urinary Medicine (GUM) and HIV in 1993, earning a Diploma in Venereology.

The following year, she was appointed a Senior Registrar in GUM and HIV at St Mary's Hospital, London where she completed her specialist training in sexual health (CCST) and psychosexual medicine (London Institute of Psychosexual Medicine).

In 1997, Dr Rodgers became a Consultant Physician at Guy's and St Thomas' Trust and started her private practice at London Bridge Hospital in 2000. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2004. She is regularly invited to teach GPs and junior doctors on a variety of sexual health topics.
