Mr Mokete is consultant ophthalmologist specialising in medical and surgical diseases of the retina, vitreous and macula. From 2004-2005 he received advanced subspecialty training in medical retina at Moorfields at St George's Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, then undertaking a fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at the Sussex Eye Hospital followed by a further fellowship at St Thomas' Hospital in London gaining experience in the management of complex vitreoretinal conditions.

The surgery was just as he described and was carried out with a reassuring professional caring manner . He was informative throughout which helped me understand what was happening. After, he reassured it had been a successful operation . I am very grateful to have my sight again .
