Dr Annice Mukherjee

Dr Annice Mukherjee is a well-respected Consultant Endocrinologist with HCA Healthcare at The Wilmslow Hospital and holds an NHS post at Salford Hospital where she leads the adolescent endocrine and chronic fatigue services. She has a wide range of experience in all areas of endocrinology but provides specialist treatment for male and female reproductive issues, pituitary and adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, menopause and vitamin D deficiency. She previously oversaw postgraduate medical training for endocrinology at Salford Hospital and is now an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Manchester.

She graduated with a Medical Degree in 1992 and completed her basic training across centres on excellence in London and Manchester. She was awarded an MSc Degree from Kings College in London, along with an MD from the University of Manchester for her research into the quality of life and immune function consequences of severe pituitary disease. Dr Mukherjee was appointed to the Society for Endocrinology national clinical and programme committees in 2015 and 2017 respectively. Throughout her career, she has won a number of awards and presented internationally in her field, along with being published extensively in endocrine journals.
