Dr Dominique Knight

Dr Dominique Knight is a highly accomplished Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions in children and young people. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Knight provides compassionate, comprehensive care tailored to the individual needs of young patients and their families. Her practice encompasses both non-surgical management and advanced surgical interventions for complex orthopaedic conditions and traumatic injuries.

Dr Knight completed her core surgical training in London and Edinburgh, where she cultivated a dedicated focus on paediatric orthopaedics. She subsequently expanded her expertise through 18 months of fellowship training in Toronto and Oxford, gaining advanced international and specialist experience. Her professional qualifications include an MBBS, a BSc, Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics, FRCS (Tr & Orth). She is an active member of several esteemed professional organisations, including the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Society for Children's Orthopaedic Surgery, the British Medical Association, and the Salter Society Alumni.

Throughout her clinical career, Dr Knight has developed extensive expertise in treating complex lower limb and hip conditions alongside general paediatric trauma. Her clinical focus includes the conservative and surgical management of clubfoot using the Ponseti technique, tarsal coalitions, planovalgus foot deformities, cavus foot, developmental dysplasia of the hip, and surgical reconstruction for hip dislocations. Additionally, she manages orthopaedic aspects of cerebral palsy and shoulder girdle injuries in young athletes, offering tailored treatment pathways designed to restore mobility and support optimal physical development.
