Mr Dhanuson Dharmasena

Mr Dhanuson Dharmasena is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a specialist interest in urogynaecology. He provides dedicated, expert care for women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and recurrent or chronic urinary tract infections, alongside a comprehensive range of general gynaecological conditions.

He graduated from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine (University of London) and completed his postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the North Central and East London Deanery. During his specialist training, he worked closely with the late Professor Malone-Lee, gaining extensive experience in the management of chronic and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Mr Dharmasena is a proud member of both the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG) and the International Urogynaecological Association (IUGA), reflecting his commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and delivering the highest standards of patient care.
