Dr Suruchi Pandey is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Honorary Reader in Endometriosis Practice and Education. Her private practice is at Cromwell and Parkside Hospitals, with her NHS base at St George’s University Hospital in London, where she has held the consultant position since 2016.
Dr Pandey specialises in advanced minimal access surgery, encompassing robotic, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques, benign gynaecological conditions including pelvic pain, adenomyosis, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and advanced gynaecological ultrasound, and medical education.
She leads the endometriosis service at St George’s Hospital and holds the role of lead for undergraduate obstetrics and gynaecology education, and Honorary Reader at City St George’s University of London.
Recognised as an RCOG trainer for the benign gynaecological surgery ATSM, Dr Pandey conducts regular courses in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic skills. She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, and actively participates in the teaching faculty of various regional and national gynaecology surgical training courses.
Dr Pandey consistently receives outstanding feedback from both her patients and trainees. Her academic journey began at Banaras Hindu University in India, where she graduated at the top of her class, earning the University Gold Medal and the Association of Surgeons of India prize for the highest marks in surgery in her MBBS class.
Dr Pandey completed her postgraduate training at Oxford, notably spending a significant portion at the John Radcliffe University Hospital, collaborating with the endometriosis team. Post training, she pursued a two-year fellowship in endometriosis and advanced endoscopic surgery in Surrey.
Skilled in robotic, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, and advanced gynaecological ultrasound, Dr Pandey is committed to providing patient-centred care.
Suruchi has presented at numerous national and international conferences, earning multiple awards for her contributions.
In her free time, Dr Pandey enjoys walking, gardening, cooking and spending time with her son.
