Dr Deborah Hilton

Dr Deborah Hilton is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in General Paediatrics, she is committed to supporting the health, development, and overall well-being of young patients across a wide spectrum of childhood illnesses and health conditions. Dr Hilton adopts a compassionate and family-centred approach, ensuring that parents and children feel reassured, respected, and fully supported during every step of their medical journey.

Dr Hilton earned her medical degree (MB ChB) at Warwick Medical School, joining as part of the university's inaugural medical cohort in 2000. Following the completion of her primary medical qualification, she undertook extensive postgraduate training in General Paediatrics to refine her clinical skill set. Her robust academic foundation, combined with continuous professional development, enables her to deliver evidence-based clinical care tailored to the distinct needs of each child.

In addition to general child health, Dr Hilton maintains a strong focus on paediatric safeguarding, child protection, and joint agency clinical governance. She takes an active clinical leadership role in multi-agency initiatives, including child death reviews and services addressing sudden and unexpected death in infancy and childhood. Working closely alongside multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, Dr Hilton maintains an objective and professional standard of practice focused on safeguarding young patients and delivering the highest quality of paediatric care.
