Dr David Wilkinson is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care for infants, children, and young people. Dr Wilkinson graduated with his medical degree (MBChB) and an honours degree in Medical Science (BMedSci) from the University of Sheffield in 2003. He completed specialist post-graduate surgical training before being awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Liverpool in 2014 for his research in developmental bowel biology. He holds a Fellowship in Paediatric Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Paed Surg).
