Dr Daniela Zanotti

Dr Daniela Zanotti is an accomplished Consultant General Surgeon specialising in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery. She provides patient-centred surgical care focused on diagnosing and managing a wide range of benign upper gastrointestinal disorders and abdominal conditions. Dedicated to delivering tailored care, Dr Zanotti uses advanced, minimally invasive surgical techniques to support optimal outcomes and smoother post-operative recoveries for her patients.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of general and upper gastrointestinal surgical procedures. Dr Zanotti has particular expertise in laparoscopic hernia repair, open abdominal wall hernia repair, incisional hernia surgery, gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), anti-reflux surgery, and hiatal hernia repair. She also provides care for patients with conditions such as achalasia and performs diagnostic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures.

Dr Zanotti earned her medical degree from the University of Brescia in 2008 and completed her specialist training in General Surgery in 2015. To deepen her surgical expertise, she completed three advanced specialist fellowships in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery across prominent medical centres in the United Kingdom. She is a Fellow of the European Board of Surgery and maintains active memberships with the Association of Upper-GI Surgery of Great Britain and Ireland (AUGIS) and the European and International Society for Diseases of the Oesophagus (ESDE/ISDE). She also contributes to medical training as a Clinical Supervisor and Educational Supervisor for surgical trainees.
