Excellent experience at The Lincoln and The Park Hospitals, Mr Brooks manner was “laid back” & not what I expected, which made a pleasant change! The surgical procedure was explained in great detail so I knew exactly what to expect. Due to the nature of the surgery I had an ongoing problem which affects some patients but not all, for this I was given an extra consultation free of charge!

I had a robotic repair of an umbilical hernia along with a further abdominal tear. The surgery was reasonably long, but successful and I was able to return home the following day. Because of the way the surgery was conducted, I required very little pain relief post operation and was able to get up and about walking and taking modest exercise within 2 days. Recovery was swift and the healing process also very quick. The 4 week review consultation confirmed the successful nature of the operations, along with reassurance and advice as to further recovery exercises.

Mr. Brooks is an amazing interesting man , my first consultation with him was a delight . I felt immediately at ease and able to ask any question concerning the procedure l was going to have for a hernia in the groin area . In the hospital met Mr Brooks , again he was kind caring reassuring about the procedure . The surgery amazing no stitches just glue . He again visited me after the repair and was clear and precise about the aftercare . I came home the same day . Haven’t had any problems healed quickly .

I was treated very well and my experience with Mr Brooks and everybody at the hospital ensured my stay was memorable and pain free. I couldn't find fault with any of the hospital staff as they were so attentive and helpful. I would recommend Mr Brooks to anyone for his manner and attention to detail.
