Dr Colin Wong

Dr Colin Wong is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in paediatric emergency medicine and acute child healthcare. In his clinical practice, Dr Wong manages urgent medical conditions in infants, children, and young people, delivering prompt diagnostic assessments and compassionate care during acute health episodes. He has extensive leadership experience within paediatric emergency departments and oversees rapid access assessment clinics to evaluate urgent childhood health concerns effectively.

His clinical work encompasses a broad range of general paediatric conditions, acute emergency care, and urgent medical assessments. Dr Wong is committed to delivering family-centred healthcare, ensuring that parents and carers are fully informed and reassured throughout their child's treatment. His background in acute medicine enables him to handle complex emergency presentations while creating a supportive and calming environment for young patients and their families.

Dr Wong completed his medical education graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) degree, alongside a Master of Science (MSc) and an Honours Degree in Law (LLB Hons). He is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Alongside his clinical commitments, Dr Wong is deeply involved in medical education and academic leadership, serving in key educational positions as a Clinical Sub-Dean to train and mentor future doctors.
