Mr Colin Mckay

Mr Colin Mckay is a Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon. They trained in the West of Scotland and was later appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow. Mr Mckay was then asked to move to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to centralise upper GI cancer surgery. They have trained junior surgical doctors in major cancer surgery and general surgery. Mr Mckay also served as Clinical Director for Surgical Specialties in Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Mr Mckay is a consultant surgeon in the regional referral unit for upper gastrointestinal and complex pancreatic and biliary surgery. Their training took place in Scotland, in the Academic Surgical Unit at the University of Glasgow. Mr Mckay also spent a year abroad in Hong Kong, furthering their training in advanced endoscopy, ERCP, oesophageal surgery and endoscopic ultrasound.
