Dr Colin Lumsden

Dr Colin Lumsden is a highly skilled Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for infants, children, and young people. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Lumsden works closely with families to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of childhood health conditions. His clinical practice focuses on ensuring young patients receive tailored care in a reassuring and supportive environment.

Dr Lumsden began his higher education at the University of St Andrews, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Science. He subsequently completed his medical degree (MBChB) through the joint medical programme with the University of Manchester, qualifying in 1995. Advancing his academic qualifications further, he later earned a Master of Science in Medical Education from Cardiff University. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) and holds professional involvement with key educational and clinical bodies.

Throughout his clinical career, Dr Lumsden has developed specialised expertise in paediatric allergy, neonatology, and general paediatric medicine. His clinical work includes assessing and treating allergic conditions in young patients, conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations, and managing complex childhood illnesses.
