Dr Christos Zipitis Steliou

Dr Christos Zipitis Steliou is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for infants, children, and young people. Serving in key leadership roles, including Divisional Medical Director and Clinical Lead, he offers compassionate and reassuring clinical guidance across general paediatric care and specialised newborn care. His practice covers a broad spectrum of child health needs, focusing on delivering evidence-based care tailored to each young patient.

Dr Zipitis Steliou earned his primary medical degree with honours, achieving a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB Hons). He expanded his expertise by completing a Master of Public Health (MPH) and is an elected Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH). In his capacity as Director of Medical Education, he actively contributes to medical training and oversees clinical research initiatives focused on improving child health outcomes, neonatal safety, and disease prevention.

With specialised clinical interest in neonatology and infant medicine, Dr Zipitis Steliou provides comprehensive evaluation and management for early-childhood health conditions. His areas of expertise include infant feeding difficulties, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, colic, lactose intolerance, and cow's milk protein allergy. He also manages paediatric respiratory conditions, such as asthma, alongside metabolic conditions including vitamin D deficiency and calcium metabolism disorders.
