Very positive and informative clinic for post liver transplant check up, as has been the case since meeting Mr Johnson at the transplant assessment January 2025. Mr Johnson takes the time to explain all results and gives me the time to ask anything. I always feel comfortable in his presence and reassured.

Really excellent. It was my 4th trip down As previous donor livers were for unsuitable. Its an astonishing skill to make the decision to proceed when the the surgical only get minutes to see the donor organs. This trip was successful in no small measure to Chris Johnstons Skill. I think even he was proud to see the resulting scar.

Today I had my appointment with Mr Chris Johnston, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for how he made me feel. When I first walked into my appointment, I was feeling quite down and fed up with the whole situation. I’ve been struggling with the way I look and how I feel about myself, especially as my liver has become so enlarged that I’m constantly being asked if I’m pregnant. It’s really started to affect my confidence and how I feel about myself. Dr Johnston took the time to properly listen to me and explain everything in a way that I could understand. He made me feel so much more positive and reassured about my upcoming operation and explained what the plan will be when I have it done. He never made me feel rushed and took the time to answer my questions and make sure I understood everything. I walked into the appointment feeling quite low, but I left feeling so much more hopeful and reassured about what lies ahead. I’m so grateful to have someone who takes the time to explain everything and genuinely cares about how I’m feeling. Thank you, Dr Johnston, for giving me that bit of reassurance today. ❤️

I can't recommend Mr Chris Johnston highly enough. I chose him to investigate an issue with my gallbladder. I was quick to be seen, quick to get a scan and follow up. All his written correspondence was very comprehensive and informative. He goes the extra mile. Not once did I feel rushed. He performed surgery, I was well looked after during and post operatively. I developed a post operative infection and he quickly administered antibiotics and further admission to hospital to receive the appropriate treatment to get me weel and back on my feet. Overall an excellent doctor.

I felt he was very positively focused on getting the best outcome for me. All communication was very proactive and crystal clear.

I am extremely grateful to have been under Mr Johnson’s care. He took a comprehensive history of my symptoms and really listened to me, before proposing a course of action. I felt I was in very safe, knowledgeable and highly skilled hands throughout my recent gall bladder surgery. In addition, his communication skills have been exemplary with really clear, concise and compassionate communication. I have no doubt he is one of the best surgeons in his field.

Brilliant experience from start to finish with Mr Johnston. He was so respectful and professional and took lots of time to explain everything in detail and answer all of our questions and put us at ease. One of the best doctors I’ve ever seen.
