Dr Chiara Pizzamiglio is an accomplished Consultant Neurologist who provides expert diagnostic and clinical care for patients experiencing a wide range of complex neurological conditions. Dr Pizzamiglio specialises in neuromuscular disorders, inherited metabolic diseases, and primary mitochondrial conditions. She possesses deep expertise in managing rare metabolic muscle disorders, including McArdle disease and Tarui disease, as well as complex neuromuscular phenotypes. In her clinical practice, Dr Pizzamiglio utilises advanced diagnostic tools, such as muscle magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and biomarker evaluations, and participates in clinical trials aimed at developing novel therapeutic options for metabolic and neuromuscular diseases.

Dr Pizzamiglio completed her medical degree and specialist residency training in Neurology in Italy at the University of Milan and the University of Piemonte Orientale. She subsequently expanded her clinical and scientific expertise through advanced specialist attachments in neuromuscular disorders and earned a PhD focused on primary mitochondrial diseases.
