Dr. Caroline Scarrow

Dr Caroline Scarrow is an experienced physiotherapist with over 20 years of specialist practice in the management of major trauma and upper limb injuries. She completed her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Hand Therapy, equipping her with expert skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and complex trauma cases. Caroline has worked extensively in the Major Trauma Service at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and now provides specialist physiotherapy services at Bush & Co.

Caroline’s expertise covers a wide range of conditions, including upper limb and hand injuries, amputations, polytrauma, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and brachial plexus or rotator cuff injuries. She also supports patients with psychological and mental health needs, working closely with GPs and statutory services to ensure long-term care and holistic rehabilitation.

Known for her empathetic and calm approach, Caroline prioritises patient-centred care, empowering clients to actively participate in their recovery and aiming to foster independence wherever possible. She is highly experienced in upper limb splinting, risk management, and safeguarding, ensuring safe and effective treatment throughout the rehabilitation process. Caroline is a member of the Chartered Institute of Physiotherapists and the British Association of Hand Therapists, reflecting her commitment to professional development.
