Mr Ed Nicholson

Ed is one of the senior physiotherapists at the clinic, having qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2012 with a first-class degree from York St John's University. Since qualifying, Ed has been working within the NHS musculoskeletal service, treating a wide range of conditions.

In addition to his physiotherapy qualifications, Ed holds a degree in Sports Science and has 24 years of experience as a personal trainer. He integrates his extensive knowledge of strength and conditioning into his physiotherapy practice, which helps to optimise patient outcomes.

As a competitive cyclist who has won track cycling medals at both National and World Masters level, Ed has a particular interest in treating and training cyclists, triathletes, and runners. He offers bike fitting and running gait analysis as part of his assessment process to further tailor his approach to these athletes’ needs.
