Dr Carl Reynolds

Dr. Carl Reynolds is a highly regarded physician specialising in respiratory and general medicine. Currently based at Charing Cross Hospital, he also holds the position of honorary senior clinical lecturer at Imperial College London.

Dr. Reynolds earned his medical qualification from the University College London School of Medicine in 2008. He subsequently secured a position in the esteemed North West London specialist respiratory training program in 2012. Driven by his passion for advancing his field, he completed his PhD in pulmonary fibrosis in 2019, conducted at the Royal Brompton Hospital and the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.

Within respiratory medicine, Dr. Reynolds has a wealth of expertise, with a particular focus on lung cancer. His specialisation extends to cover a spectrum of respiratory conditions, including asthma, interstitial lung disease, occupational lung disease, and pleural disease. He provides comprehensive care for a broad range of general respiratory concerns, actively participating in clinical settings such as general respiratory clinics and ward patient care. Additionally, he plays an active role in the general medical on-call rotation.

Dr. Reynolds is dedicated to research activities aimed at unravelling the underlying causes of respiratory diseases. His role as a Consultant in Respiratory and Acute Medicine, coupled with his research focus, underscores his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
