Dr Bernard Keavney

Dr Bernard Keavney is a distinguished Consultant Cardiologist with an extensive background in cardiovascular medicine. His clinical work encompasses a broad range of cardiac conditions, with a dedicated focus on inherited cardiac disorders and managing heart disease during pregnancy. Dr Keavney completed his preclinical medical studies at the University of St Andrews, earning his Bachelor of Science with honours in 1985, before qualifying in Medicine from the University of Oxford in 1988 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1991 and was awarded his Doctorate of Medicine from Oxford in 2000. In 2005, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London). He maintains active professional membership with the British Cardiovascular Society.
