Dr Jonathan Hasleton is a cardiologist based at Venturi Cardiology and Spire Manchester Hospital. He sees patients with all types of general cardiology problems and specialises in coronary artery disease. He is also able to see patients with more unusual cardiac conditions.

Special clinical interests:

• Cardiovascular risk assessment
• Coronary angiography and angioplasty/stenting
• Preventive cardiology
• Cardiac rehabilitation
• Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging.

He offers outpatient consultations and a range of non-invasive coronary testing such as CT and MRI. Additionally, he provides catheter lab services and has expertise in percutaneous coronary intervention.

Dr Hasleton gained his medical degree in 2003 from the University of Manchester and went on to train in cardiology in Liverpool. Following this, he completed a master's degree in cardiovascular sciences at the Hatter Cardiovascular Institute at University College London. He also trained at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, where he developed an interest in coronary intervention and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

He has previously worked at Hope Hospital and Wythenshawe Hospital. His current NHS posts are at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital.
