Dr Benjamin Way

Dr Benjamin Way is a highly skilled Consultant Plastic Surgeon who specialises in reconstructive, aesthetic, and skin cancer surgery. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, he works closely with each patient to tailor surgical treatments to their individual needs and clinical goals. His practice encompasses a wide spectrum of interventions, ranging from complex reconstructive procedures to cosmetic enhancements, always prioritising safety, functional restoration, and natural aesthetic outcomes.

Dr Way earned his undergraduate degree in Physiological Science and his medical degree in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford. Following basic surgical training in London, he undertook higher plastic surgery training within the PanThames London Deanery. He also completed postgraduate research towards Master's and doctoral degrees at University College London, concentrating on craniofacial and scar biology. He was awarded the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, earning his FRCS (Plast) qualification, and completed advanced specialist fellowships in melanoma and skin cancer surgery, extremity trauma reconstruction, and aesthetic surgery. Dr Way is a council member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

With broad clinical expertise, Dr Way provides comprehensive surgical management for skin lesions, melanoma, and general skin cancers, including post-Mohs micrographic surgery reconstruction. He also possesses dedicated expertise in lymphoedema management and lymphatic reconstruction, extremity trauma reconstruction, laser therapy, and scar biology. In addition to reconstructive surgery, he performs a full range of general plastic and aesthetic surgical procedures.
