Mr Christopher Macdonald

Mr Christopher Macdonald is a consultant plastic surgeon at Benenden Hospital, the McIndoe Centre, and Purity Bridge (Tunbridge Wells Plastic Surgery). He offers patients tailored care and has special interests in breast and body surgery, breast augmentation/reduction/lifting, abdominoplasty, rectus divarication repair, and buttock/thigh/arm lifting.

Mr Macdonald earned his degrees at University College London before spending time working in globally recognised plastic surgery centres in the South East, Norwich, and the West Midlands. He then earned a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and undertook prestigious fellowships in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic surgery. Following this, he travelled to the USA where he completed advanced training in Boston and San Diego. He then established a successful surgical and non-surgical cosmetic practice in the Midlands before moving back to the South East of England.

Mr Macdonald is a member of specialist groups for cosmetic surgery safety, microsurgery, and body contouring surgery. He has research interests in increasing patient outcomes and safety in plastic surgery and has published and presented widely in the field. In addition to his private practices, Mr Macdonald works at Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) and University Hospitals Sussex (Brighton) caring for patients with complex skin cancer or major trauma who require advanced surgical reconstruction.
