About Dr. Balachandran Sriram
Dr Balachandran Sriram is a general practitioner and primary care surgeon based at Midlands Ultrasound and Medical Services (MUMS). He specialises in vasectomies, specifically the no-scalpel technique/minimal invasive vasectomy (male sterilisation). This is an advanced technique that is quick, safe, and simple. Dr Sriram has performed the procedure for many years and has undertaken several thousand procedures.

He gained his medical degree (MB BS) in 1984 from the University of Madras and worked as a surgeon prior to becoming a GP. He holds both the FRCS (Eng) and the MRCGP (UK) degrees. He is a member of the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care and Primary Care Dermatology Society.
Dr Sriram is highly experienced and has a calm approach to care, which puts his patients at ease. In addition to his work at MUMS, he is also a dermatology surgeon in the NHS and undertakes weekly sessions in hospitals in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Furthermore, he is a principal trainer in vasectomy and has taught other healthcare professionals, both in the UK and overseas, to perform the procedure.

I recently had a vasectomy by dr balachandran and wanted to leave a review to say how impressed I was with the whole experience. Naturally, I was a little nervous beforehand, but the team made me feel completely at ease from the moment I arrived. Everything was explained clearly, and all of my questions were answered in a professional and reassuring manner. The procedure itself was much quicker and more comfortable than I expected. There was very little discomfort, and the care and attention I received throughout was excellent. The aftercare advice was straightforward and easy to follow, and my recovery has been smooth. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering a vasectomy. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, which made what could have been a daunting experience feel simple and stress-free. Thank you again for such excellent service.

My experience at the MUMs clinic with Dr Balachandran has been amazing from start to finish. I recently had a lipoma removed on my face above my left eyebrow. Dr. Balachandran explained the procedure to me and what the removal entailed to which I was more than happy to have the lipoma removed at his clinic. I can’t thank Dr. Balachandran enough for his brilliant work.
