Dr. Ayman Kodera

Dr Ayman Kodera is a highly accomplished Consultant Psychiatrist with over two decades of clinical experience spanning Old Age, General Adult, and Liaison Psychiatry. Currently practicing at Nurify Medical, he earned his medical degree from Cairo University in 2004, where he also completed a Master’s in Neurology and Psychiatry in 2010. In 2017, he became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and achieved his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2024.

Dr Kodera has a distinguished background in addiction medicine, having worked for six years at a WHO Collaborative Centre in Abu Dhabi in partnership with Harvard University. His higher training was completed at the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, where he developed specialist interests in neuromodulation and psychiatric care for patients with terminal illnesses.

Deeply committed to psycho-oncology, Dr Kodera has extensive experience supporting patients across all stages of cancer treatment and recovery. Alongside his role at Nurify Medical, he leads an inpatient unit for older adults and oversees a multidisciplinary community team at the North London Foundation Trust. Passionate about education, he also mentors medical students and has authored peer-reviewed publications and numerous quality improvement projects.
