Dr Arpan Mehta

Dr Arpan Mehta is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist who provides patient-centred neurological care. Specialising in neurodegenerative conditions and general neurology, he works collaboratively with patients to evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systems. His clinical practice emphasises compassionate communication, holistic care planning, and the delivery of evidence-based medical management.

Dr Mehta completed his pre-clinical medical studies at the University of Cambridge, graduating with a First-Class Bachelor of Arts degree, before completing his clinical medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) with Distinction at the University of Oxford in 2010. He completed high-level postgraduate clinical training in Neurology and earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh in 2022. Dr Mehta is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, holding full MRCP(UK) certification in Neurology.

With a dedicated focus on neurodegenerative diseases, Dr Mehta has extensive clinical expertise in motor neuron disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and progressive nerve disorders. His clinical interests encompass cellular bioenergetics, axonal biology, and translational therapies designed to slow or manage disease progression.
