Mr Anur Miah

Mr Anur Miah is an experienced Consultant Laparoscopic Colorectal and General Surgeon providing patient-centred care for a wide range of general and gastrointestinal surgical conditions. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment, utilising modern surgical methodologies to ensure optimal patient outcomes and comfort. As a General Surgeon, Mr Miah offers compassionate guidance throughout the diagnostic and surgical process, ensuring patients feel fully informed and supported when making decisions about their care.

Mr Miah completed his undergraduate medical education earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), alongside a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc Hons). Demonstrating a steadfast commitment to surgical excellence, he undertook extensive postgraduate training and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Mr Miah has been active in academic clinical research in surgical science, contributing to peer-reviewed literature aimed at improving operative techniques and post-operative recovery.

In his clinical practice, Mr Miah specialises in lower and upper gastrointestinal surgery as well as keyhole techniques. His areas of expertise include the surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease, appendicitis, and general abdominal conditions.
