I had surgery in November at New Victoria Hospital for multiple abdominal hernias under Professor Frampton after seeking a second opinion, and I’m very glad I did. From the first consultation, he was friendly and reassuring, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all my questions, which put me at ease after a previous, less positive experience elsewhere. On the day of surgery, he came to see me beforehand and talked everything through again, which I really appreciated. The surgery itself went extremely well, using a no-mesh technique, and I was honestly surprised by how quickly I recovered. I had minimal pain and was back to normal activities within a week. I am now two months post-op and so far the hernias have stayed closed. I am able to do activities that would previously have caused me pain, which has made a huge difference to my day-to-day life. At my follow-up appointment, Professor Frampton was pleased with how well I’d healed and again took time to answer my questions. I felt listened to, well cared for, and very confident in his expertise throughout the whole process.

I would not hesitate in recommending Prof. Frampton to others. He recently carried out a successful inguinal hernia repair on me at the Nuffield hospital in Guildford. I had consulted him a few weeks beforehand. He explained the procedure to me and was friendly, professional and reassuring throughout.
