Dr Anthony Ugwuoke

Dr Anthony Ugwuoke is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in lower limb surgical care. He focuses on restoring mobility and relieving joint pain for individuals affected by bone and joint conditions. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of surgical treatments, with primary expertise in joint replacement procedures for the hip and knee. Dr Ugwuoke takes a patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals receive clear guidance, reassuring support, and care tailored to their personal needs.

As a skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Ugwuoke has extensive clinical expertise in primary total hip replacements, total knee replacements, and knee arthroscopy. He maintains a special clinical interest in lower limb arthroplasty, complex primary joint reconstructions, and the management of peri-prosthetic fractures. Dr Ugwuoke utilises advanced, minimally invasive surgical techniques designed to support recovery, minimise discomfort, and help patients regain active, fulfilling lives.

Dr Ugwuoke earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and completed specialist higher surgical training across prominent medical centres in the West Midlands. He further refined his skills through an advanced clinical fellowship in complex hip and knee surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. In addition to obtaining a Master’s degree in Medical Education (MsMedEdu) and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics), Dr Ugwuoke serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Buckingham, where he actively contributes to medical education and professional training.
