Dr Anna Pigott

Dr Anna Pigott is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist who provides compassionate, comprehensive care for infants, children, and young people. Holding leadership experience as Clinical Director of Child Health, she focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide array of childhood conditions. Dr Pigott works collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure that young patients and their families receive holistic, reassuring, and evidence-based care tailored to their unique physical and developmental needs.

In her specialist practice, Dr Pigott focuses on complex gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders in paediatric patients. Her clinical interests include paediatric inflammatory bowel disease, such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, alongside coeliac disease, chronic diarrhoea, functional gastrointestinal disorders, persistent constipation, and severe vomiting. She is skilled in paediatric endoscopy procedures and is also active in public health advocacy, particularly regarding the dangers of foreign body and button battery ingestion in young children.

Dr Pigott completed her primary medical degree and achieved postgraduate qualification as a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She is fully registered with the General Medical Council and holds Specialist Register status in Paediatrics.
