Dr Anjli Jethwa

Dr Anjli Jethwa is a Consultant Paediatrician who provides compassionate and comprehensive care to infants, children, and young people. Specialising in general child healthcare alongside dedicated paediatric allergy services, Dr Jethwa is committed to diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions in childhood. She adopts a reassuring, patient-centred approach to medicine, working closely with parents and carers to ensure families feel thoroughly supported throughout every step of their child's care plan.

Dr Jethwa completed her initial medical training at the University of Birmingham, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1999. Advancing her expertise in childhood allergic conditions, she went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Allergy from Imperial College London. To maintain the highest clinical standards and remain at the forefront of paediatric medicine, she holds professional memberships with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

Within her clinical practice, Dr Jethwa focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and long-term management of complex allergic disorders in paediatric patients. Her clinical interests encompass IgE and non-IgE mediated food allergies, anaphylaxis, allergic rhinitis, eczema, asthma, and chronic urticaria. She utilises a range of diagnostic techniques, including skin prick testing and structured oral food challenges, and oversees sublingual immunotherapy and desensitisation programmes to improve young patients' quality of life.
