Dr Andrew Phillips

Dr Andrew Phillips is an accomplished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with sub-specialist expertise in gynaecological oncology, advanced pelvic surgery, and minimally invasive procedures. Dedicated to providing patient-centred care, Dr Phillips works collaboratively within multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure that patients receive comprehensive diagnostic assessments, compassionate guidance, and individually tailored treatment plans. His clinical approach emphasises clear communication, evidence-based management, and the highest standards of patient safety.

In his clinical practice, Dr Phillips focuses on the diagnosis and surgical management of gynaecological malignancies, including ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulval, and vaginal cancers, as well as uterine sarcomas. He performs advanced cytoreductive debulking operations, general gynaecological surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and robotic-assisted interventions. Additionally, Dr Phillips offers expert evaluation for post-menopausal bleeding, cervical screening abnormalities, precancerous conditions, and familial gynaecological cancer risk.

Dr Phillips earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Bioethics and Health Ethics & Law. He achieved sub-speciality accreditation in gynaecological oncology and is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG).
