Mr Andrew Mitchell

Mr Andrew Mitchell is an experienced Consultant General Surgeon and Consultant Upper GI Surgeon who specialises in weight loss and bariatric surgery. He provides compassionate, patient-focused care to individuals seeking surgical solutions for obesity, metabolic conditions, and complex digestive health issues. Mr Mitchell earned his medical degree from the University of Aberdeen in 2002. He went on to obtain a Master's degree in Medical Education from the University of Dundee in 2008 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010. Following the completion of his higher surgical training, he undertook a prestigious specialist fellowship in laparoscopic bariatric surgery in Liverpool. He is fully registered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for General Surgery.
