Mr Andrew Mishreki exhibits a professional, friendly, caring, and reassuring manner with patients. He offers explanations for medical conditions, diagnoses, and surgical procedures, including endoscopy, colorectal operations, and cancer treatment. This covers investigations, pre-operative details, and thorough aftercare, which builds strong patient confidence and proves life-changing. Some patients mention a desire for a more personable or softer manner; his key practice areas involve colonoscopy, haemorrhoids, and bowel cancer.
Really good, very personable and gave great advice. Surgery went well!
All round good experience, the procedure was explained fully. The aftercare was clearly communicated. Both the surgeon and anaesthetist were very friendly and took the time to explain everything and answer questions.
I chose to go privately with Mr Mishreki, as he had treated me before at my local NHS hospital, and the NHS waiting list was too long. In all my dealings with him, he was excellent, he explained what he would be doing before and how things would progress after my operation. There was a small problem after the operation which he dealt with very quickly and professionally. He is pleasant and easy to talk to and seems supportive to his team. I would recommend him to anyone with similar problems to me.
Mr Mishreki put me at ease straight away and listened to what my problem was. He explained everything in detail which gave me so much assurance in what was we agreed upon.
I have been under Mr Mishreki’s care multiple times and each time treated professionally and courteously. He takes the time to explain the issues, and options and gives confidence that you’re in safe hands.
Cannot find anything to complain about. His attitude and attention to detail went above and beyond what may have been expected. Faultless.
Mr Mishreki treated me for an umbilical hernia, and his professionalism and bedside manner was fantastic! He took the time to check in on me, explained things clearly, and you can tell he takes great pride in his work.
Mr Mishreki was very thorough, he is a brilliant listener and did a colonoscopy, MRI and CT scan. He is so professional and very caring, explaining everything in detail. I would like to place on record my thanks to him.
Following my diagnosis of Bowel Cancer and really not knowing what to expect, i was very quickly reassured about my surgery pathway from the Colorectal Team. My total experience from the early diagnosis, through to surgery, then my follow-up appointments have really been first class. This is the first time i have had surgery in 50 years and i cant speak highly enough about every NHS Staff member who looked after and guided me during this testing time!
From start to finish, Mr Mishreki was fantastic. He took the time to fully explain the procure and answer any questions I had. He was friendly & approachable, and made me feel at ease throughout the consultations and the day of my operation. The operation went very well and the wound has healed well above my expectations. Overall, an excellent experience and would highly recommend Mr Mishreki to any potential patients.
Mr Mishreki is an excellent surgeon who delivers high quality care. He is well liked by patients, colleagues and staff alike. I would have no hesitation recommending him to family and friends for the surgical procedures he offers.

Mr James Wokes
Plastic SurgeonAndrew is a colleague who I work with regularly, regularly discussing cases requiring a combined colorectal and gynaecological input. This includes planning and operating on complex cases requiring surgery for benign or malignant disease. The majority of these cases involve "key-hole" surgery which benefits the patient. I can recommend him as as a skilled surgeon, who is up to date with current research and advances in his field, and is always attempting to ensure he is improving in his practice. He is very patient focused and ensures that there is a shared decision making approach to all ca...
