Mr. Omer Osmani is a full-time NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in Plastic Surgery. He specialises in breast reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, gynaecomastia surgery, abdominoplasty/body contouring, liposuction, post massive weight loss surgery, skin surgery, hand surgery, male and female genito-urethral surgery, hypospadias surgery and general plastic surgery.
Mr. Osmani is extremely experienced, having performed over 6000 procedures in plastic surgery and currently based at the University Hospital of North Durham and Spire Washington Hospital for this NHS and private practice, respectively.
Mr. Osmani qualified as a doctor from the prestigious Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He came to the UK for higher studies and completed his Basic Surgical Training in Cardiff and South Wales. Following this he then undertook training in a various plastic surgery units in the UK, majority in West Midlands, to further increase his experience and expertise. He completed fellowships in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery at the Texas Medical Centre, Houston, USA and the University Hospital of Brussels, Belgium.
In addition to his busy practice, Mr. Osmani is also a keen teacher and Radiation Protection Supervisor for Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital of North Durham. He enjoys cooking and travelling.

I have had four procedures performed by Mr. Osmani, over two separate occasions, to remove excess skin after weight loss, and I couldn't be happier with the results, which are better than I ever could have hoped for. Mr.Osmani has an extremely professional, but very human, manner, which made me feel at ease throughout the entire period, and answered all of my queries with easy to understand explanations. His post-op support has also been exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend him and, to reinforce this recommendation, my wife is also about to undergo a procedure with him in the near future.
