Dr Anand Patel

I am an established Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon who provides a wide range of Dermatological services. I am the lead Clinician for Dermatology at the Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre and involved in research, teaching and training.

I completed my General Medical training at the Queen's Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital where I achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians. I then specialised in Dermatology, obtaining a training post in Nottingham. On completing my training I undertook further sub-specialty training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Skin Cancer under the supervision of two nationally recognised Mohs surgeons.

Among my main professional interests are the early diagnosis and management of Skin Cancer and Pre-cancer, Skin surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery as well as General Dermatology such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes and hyperhidrosis with botox treatment. I am also able to perform laser surgery for vascular lesions and consult children with eczema and psoriasis.

I have published extensively on different specialty areas within Dermatology.
