Dr Sajjad Rajpar is a UK Consultant Dermatologist and Medical Director of Midland Skin in Birmingham, specialising in mole checks, skin cancer diagnosis and skin surgery, including Mohs surgery.

He also has a strong procedural and laser-based practice, with key areas including acne, acne scarring, rosacea, and facial rejuvenation (including laser resurfacing and treatment of redness and pigmentation).

He is frequently consulted for assessment of new, changing or concerning skin lesions, including benign lesions such as cysts, lipomas and moles, and suspected or confirmed skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and melanoma. He also manages pre-cancerous lesions such as Bowen’s disease and actinic keratoses, advising on appropriate monitoring and treatment options.

Alongside medical and surgical dermatology, Dr Rajpar offers advanced treatment for acne and rosacea, and is widely consulted for acne scarring, including combination approaches tailored to scar type, skin type and downtime. He also treats challenging scar types such as keloid and hypertrophic scars, and provides laser based rejuvenation for skin texture, sun damage, pigmentation and redness.

Experience and expertise

Dr Rajpar has extensive experience in dermatological surgery and skin cancer care, and previously led skin surgery services at University Hospitals Birmingham. His background includes advanced training in Mohs surgery, and he is experienced in the diagnosis and management of complex lesions and skin cancers.
