Dr Amy Judson

Dr Amy Judson is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across all aspects of women's reproductive health. Dr Judson focuses on creating a reassuring and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health concerns. Her practice combines evidence-based medicine with open, empathetic communication, ensuring patients are well informed and fully empowered to participate in decisions regarding their healthcare.

Dr Judson earned a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of St Andrews in 2003, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Manchester in 2006. She achieved Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2013 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2025. She also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at Edge Hill University in 2015. Dr Judson maintains active professional memberships with the General Medical Council, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Association of Early Pregnancy Units, the British Society of Abortion Care Providers, and the Medical Protection Society.

In her clinical practice, Dr Judson provides assessment and care for a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological conditions. Her clinical interests include early pregnancy management, recurrent pregnancy loss, acute gynaecology, vulval and vaginal skin abnormalities, and the medical treatment of endometriosis, adenomyosis, menorrhagia, and uterine fibroids. She routinely performs outpatient and minor gynaecological procedures, including early pregnancy ultrasound scanning, hysteroscopy, coil insertion, and endometrial ablation.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Judson is deeply engaged in medical education, supervising and tutoring undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees. She remains committed to delivering gentle, respectful, and individualised care that meets the specific needs of every patient.
